Miniature Bulldozer Build Guide

Before you purchase this build guide, please read the following information below.

After many requests, I have finally put together a mini dozer build guide. Please understand that this is not a complete, step by step set of plans to build the mini dozer shown throughout the pages of this website. Creativity and mechanical aptitude will still be needed to complete a working mini dozer.

However, a complete set of drawings for the track frame rails is included with this build guide. This will allow you to build the most critical part of the dozer and adapt it to whatever projects you may have in mind. The track frame rails look like this.

• Track frame rail information including scaling, loading the tracks and additional design notes. Alternate design choices are also included. 
• Drive sprocket design including how to calculate different size sprockets if needed.

• 36 engineering drawings of the track frame rails.
• .dxf file of the sprocket and tensioner wheel. This file is used to cut out the sprocket on a CNC plasma, waterjet or laser cutter. No design work needed.

Again, the main focus of this guide is to provide information about the track frame and drive components. Less time is spent discussing the body panels and plow. Many alternatives exist such as using a hood and seat from an older garden or lawn tractor and a pre made plow or snowblower. It is up to the end user to complete these final details on their own. This is not a project for the beginner. Welding and machining skills are needed as well as overall mechanical knowledge.
